Information for law enforcement
How Naseeb responds to legal process
Effective 19 August 2026. Naseeb Consulting operates naseeb.dating from Miami, Florida. This page is for law enforcement and legal professionals. Members with a privacy question should use the privacy notice instead.
Where to send a request
Send legal process to [email protected] with the subject line beginning "LEGAL REQUEST". A postal address for formal service is provided on request.
- Identify yourselfInclude the requesting agency, the officer or attorney of record, a badge or bar number, a direct telephone number, and an official email address.
- Be specificIdentify the account by the email address used to register. Naseeb cannot search reliably by name alone. Give the date range sought and the specific categories of records.
- Expect a receiptRequests are acknowledged, normally within five business days. Naseeb is a one-person business; requests are handled as promptly as that allows.
What is required
- Valid processNaseeb discloses member records only when compelled by a subpoena, court order, search warrant, or equivalent valid legal process issued under United States law, or where an exception below applies.
- Content requires a warrantQuestionnaire answers, family responses, private matchmaker notes, and photographs are treated as content and are disclosed only under a search warrant or a court order of equivalent standard.
- Narrow requestsRequests that are overbroad, that seek entire categories of members, or that lack a clear connection to a specific investigation will be objected to or refused.
- No informal disclosureNo member record is released on a telephone call, an email request without process, or a request from a private party. Civil litigants must serve valid process.
What Naseeb holds, and for how long
The privacy notice is the authoritative description. In summary, Naseeb holds account and verification records, questionnaire answers, family responses where a parent was invited, photographs, introduction and decision records, delivery logs, security audit events, and subscription state.
- Payment dataNaseeb does not hold card numbers. Payment records live with Stripe and should be sought from Stripe directly.
- Retention is limitedRecords are kept for the periods in the privacy notice and are then deleted. Mail delivery logs are kept 180 days and security audit events 365 days. Deleted accounts are not recoverable, and deletion is designed to survive a restore from backup.
- Preservation requestsA written preservation request under 18 U.S.C. § 2703(f) is honoured for 90 days, renewable once, and should be sent before service of process where retention periods are a concern.
Emergencies and notice to members
- Emergency disclosureWhere there is a good-faith belief that an emergency involving danger of death or serious physical injury requires disclosure without delay, Naseeb may disclose the information reasonably necessary to address it. Mark such a request "EMERGENCY DISCLOSURE REQUEST" and state the nature of the danger.
- Members are toldNaseeb's policy is to notify a member before disclosing their records, so they may seek to object — unless prohibited by law or court order, or where notice would create a risk of harm to a person or an investigation.
- Records of requestsLegal requests and responses are logged internally so the handling of each can be accounted for.
